Freedom Scholars Learning Center is a licensed site of the Children’s Defense Fund Freedom Schools® program, implementing its nationally recognized model in partnership with families and community.
Small groups, strong relationships, real growth
As a Children’s Defense Fund Freedom Schools® site, we follow a proven model centered on literacy, identity, and leadership.
We keep classes intimate, never more than ten scholars per group. This ensures each young person receives individualized attention from certified educators and mentored junior staff, grounded in the Freedom Schools approach of care, high expectations, and relationship-building.

Monday through Friday, eight to three
